Stephenson Harwood LLP
Client Requirements
Stephenson Harwood LLP required the relocation of approximately 600 staff from an existing building at 1 St Pauls Churchyard and two smaller offices in Ludgate Hill to 1 Finsbury Circus. A critical element of the service required by this busy law firm was the sequential and secure movement, packing and unpacking of over 5000 linear metres of filing. This archive and library material required continuous access throughout the project.
Project Solution
Premier Moves worked closely with Premier Sustain and the client’s Move Management providers, Move Plan and J G Reagan on this project. A programme of works was devised to support the availability of the filing around each move phase. The delivery of this project required careful planning as access was limited at Finsbury Circus as a result of the Cross Rail project.
Stephenson Harwood devised a furniture reuse strategy of their existing stock which was relocating and installed at the new premises. The Sustain team worked with our trade partners and charities co-ordinator to maximise the resale values of the furniture items and ensure that all items that could be donated via The Giving Back Project were identified and distributed accordingly. This approach was supported by a zero to landfill clearance of other unwanted furniture and equipment carried out by Premier Sustain.
