Surrey County Council
Client Requirements:
Surrey County Council issued a tender for a full range of move management services for its portfolio of offices and public buildings across the County. The services required were for moves and changes support for a broad range of sites including; libraries, fire stations, office building and ambulance services.
Project Solution:
Premier has been providing extensive move and related relocation services since securing this initial tender in 2006. This contract requires flexibility and scalability across a number of move disciplines to ensure that each site has the resources, specialisms and skills for its particular move or refurbishment project requirements Because of the sensitive and confidential nature of some of the locations we are working in all staff provided have appropriate security and CRB checks completed.
In addition to services from the Moves division, Premier Systems IT has provided desk top and IT relocation services, whilst Premier Sustain has provided sustainable office furniture refurbishment, reuse and recycling services for clearances across a number of sites.
Project Feedback
Premier Moves takes a partnership approach to working with Surrey County Council to ensure the client is happy not only with current services but also to make sure Premier is well placed to support Surrey County Council on future projects. The success of the relationship has secured Premier Moves a second contract term in 2010 for a further four years.
