Client Requirements
With the fast past of change Vodafone’s workforce, working methods and therefore IT requirements, needed a range of skilled IT support services on a flexible basis.
Vodafone started out with over 60 different buildings within Newbury when Premier Systems IT started working for them. They took the strategic decision to move to larger scale locations on industrial parks, following on from this they moved to their new head office.
Project Solution
Since 2001 Premier Systems IT has successfully supported Vodafone with their IT service requirements; from desktop support across all sites, to ongoing moves, adds and changes and the management and delivery of large scale projects.
Premier Systems IT has undertaken relocation projects facilitating the move of 1200 staff over a weekend, through to the move of one member of staff, whilst ensuring Vodafone can operate a business as usual service.
During the largest project that Premier Systems undertook we had to manage the decommissioning from twenty five source sites and the recommissioning in six new sites.
All milestones for the project were achieved and the project was delivered on cost and all users were operational from day one.
