Premier Moves Supports BAAND Aid for Macmillan Cancer Support

The Premier team was busy at Heathrow this week supporting a mighty fundraising campaign by BAA for Macmillan Cancer Support. BAA, a long term client of Premier Moves, chose Macmillan as its charity of the year in recognition of all the valuable work the Macmillan team does to provide practical, medical and financial support to those dealing with cancer.

BAA staff formed a rock group called ‘The BAAnd’ which is due shortly to compete in the ‘Construction Rocks’ fundraising concert to raise even more money for Macmillan and also the British Heart Foundation.

To kick the fundraising off, Premier Moves dedicated staff and vehicles to support a mini world tour for The BAAnd around Europe’s busiest airport. The group played six mini gigs over eight hours around the Airport. The Premier Moves team provided the logistics to make the day possible and help raise as much as possible for Macmillan.

An early count last night indicates that we have at least matched the £6,000 raised last year, the team did an excellent job – the band members appreciated all they did, and they were also brilliant at shaking the buckets! “ said Camilla Nicholson, BAA.
