Premier Sustain Helps Support Forest Recycling Project
Premier Sustain was delighted to be able to respond to the call for assistance by Forest Recycling Project (FRP) placed in the London Community Resource Network (LCRN) bulletin. Forest Recycling Project is a social enterprise established in 1989, promoting social and environmental justice, and a sustainable society through practical initiatives to reuse, recycle and reduce waste in North East London. The Project was about to move part of its East London Community RePaint’s storage to a new warehouse in Edmonton and put out a plea for donations of industrial shelving. Premier Sustain, who is also a member of LCRN saw this request and was able to respond immediately providing useful metal racking directly from a clearance being carried out on behalf of its client Nord LB. Premier Sustain carries out sustainable clearances of large public and private organisations and at the heart of the company’s zero to landfill approach is The Giving Back Project which actively seeks to divert redundant items of furniture and equipment to local charities and social enterprises.
