Sustain reports excellent first quarter results
Premier Sustain published its quarterly sustainability statistics today showing that, on behalf of its clients, the company has refurbished over 300 desks, resold over 2,900 items of furniture, donated nearly 1,000 items to local charities and schools and recycled in excess of 234 tonnes of waste in the past three months. In doing so, Premier Sustain has saved over 30 tonnes of CO2 emissions from desk refurbishment and over 540 tonnes from reuse and recycling.
Phil Oram, Operations Director, Premier Sustain says: “We knew the Sustain team had been busy and we are delighted with the progress that has been to date on behalf of our clients. With new projects on the horizon, we hope to significantly build on this great first set of figures in the next quarter”.
Premier Sustain provides clear and auditable management reporting as a standard part of its service for all clients. This not only helps our customers and stakeholders know the contribution they have made to better environmental performance, but it also helps all the staff at the Premier Group understand more about the offerings of our newest division and the benefits of a sustainable approach.
