Sustainable Services

Our sustainable fit out and refurbishment principles are outlined in our Environmental Management System that is accredited to ISO14001. This approach not only guides environmental best practice but also makes financial sense for our clients.

The sustainability initiatives incorporated are delivered by both our Premier Interiors and Premier Sustain teams; we welcome the opportunity to help clients achieve specific sustainability objectives.

Purchasing – Our careful planning and purchasing policies encourage the purchase of more sustainable products and ensure that materials are ordered as close to specification as possible to reduce cost and waste.

Pre-Fabrication – Where practical, we carry out pre-fabrication of furniture and interior installations, this helps reduce waste and enables back loading of packaging to materials suppliers.

Refurbishment – We work with our clients to see where existing infrastructure, storage systems and furniture can be refurbished to the highest standards to meet future need, reduce waste, reduce carbon and save money.

Reuse Through our “Giving Back” initiative we will always seek to find a secondary use for all unwanted furniture and equipment.

Recycling – Our zero to landfill approach to office refurbishment is installed both in our staff training and our on-site practice.

Zero to Landfill – We manage many waste resources from our projects all in full compliance with legislative requirements. Where viable wastes are segregated sent directly for re use or recycling. Where operational constraints exist materials are sent to a local recovery facility where they are mechanically separated for recycling or sent to generate energy from waste.
